The National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) was the first “National” Diver Education agency, founded in 1959, and since has been the leader in Diver Education. This is evidenced by NAUI being the preferred Agency for the U.S. Navy Seals, NASA, NOAA, U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Divers, The Florida Aquarium and Disney Resorts. The NAUI Scuba Diver Course is the only basic open water ourse that teaches every student the skill of Unconscious Diver Rescue. NAUI Instructors must satisfy the ultimate question of their Instructor Trainers, “Would I allow this Instructor to teach MY loved one to dive” and only if the answer is yes, do they gain the right and certification necessary to teach you and your loved ones.
Absolutely! We always welcome you back to dive for a “tune up” before a trip. Set up your gear and adjust your weights or just work on skills. There is no charge for our students.
Yes, we will reschedule for you twice, but there are no refunds on your class if you cancel. There is a set amount of students per class and majority of summer season classes are full. There is a buy back on any books if you cancel your class 2 weeks prior to the class starting. We may not be able to refund an e-learning code that has been activated. Class materials must be in the original condition. A restocking fee may apply.
Your NAUI certification does not expire, you are certified for life. But, if you do not make any dives for an extended amount of time, say a year, it is prudent for you to contact us for a refresher! Your certification is also well respected and received around the world. Yes, your C-card will allow you to dive around the globe.
Sharks are very beautiful and sometimes shy creatures. Anecdotally, they appear to take an interest in underwater hunters, as they are attracted to fish blood. We as humans are not “prey”. Simply give them the same respect you would like and remember, no petting!
The underwater realm is truly an amazing place that is explored by a surprising very few of the world’s population. You will encounter an incredible amount of both interesting and beautiful creature, vegetation & corals. Different locations offer differing scenery. You may encounter just amazing colors of both hard and soft corals, or you could find yourself diving with the world’s largest, yet most gentle, creatures such as whale sharks, blue whales, … actually the list is simply too long to list.
Yes, we offer a student discount for 30 days after your certification. We also offer Military discounts and other incentives for purchases. This will be discussed the first night of class or you can just ask us about the programs when you confirm your class. You could even get some or all of your tuition refunded through the VA program!
